A few folks got together at The Stable last Saturday night to enjoy a few beers and to gossip about everyone else that wasn't there. We had a great time with our friends Lee, Richard, Tim, and Heather.
Max and Kaz finished their first karate class, and Max decided to participate in a karate competition on Saturday. Their was an obstacle course and a punch and kick competition. While he did not win, he did a great job and earned a competition medal. He was extremely happy.
Our wonderful friends, Nancy and Vicki, were in town last week for the Society for American Archaeology annual meeting. We were able to convince them that dinner with a family of six would be a fun evening. We may not be friends anymore.
Nini got to meet Pierce Holland this afternoon in Columbia at a memorial service for Dr. Clyde Wilson. She also got to meet Anne Wilson, whom we hope to spend time with some time in the near future.
All we can say is "It's about time." Zach is having quite a bit of success adjusting to the fact that he's joined the ranks of the underpants people. We are extremely pleased.
