Our good friend Nancy gave us a beautiful sweater for Nini knitted by her mother- and sister-in-law. She looks quite fetching... her hommage to David Byrne.



Actually, Nancy got gifts for all of us for which we are very, very grateful.

New Doors Under Tub

Our friend Rich finished the door insert for our tub, and it looks great! Here are the before and after pictures. Thanks Rich!!! Now I just have to caulk and put up the rest of the baseboard.

Nini's Two-Month Check Up

Nini had her two-month check up on Tuesday, and she had a wonderful time with the best pediatrician in St. Louis, Dr. Z (see photo). She weighed in at 5 lbs 7 oz and was making good progress in all growth areas. At her weigh in today--Friday, 8 January--with the home nurse she tipped the scales at 5 lbs 11 oz. Before we know it she'll top 6 lbs!
