Zoo time!

The weather was great, so we went to the St. Louis Zoo!

Trampoline

What else can you say. Thanks to Grandpa Bill we now have a wonderful trampoline. It's such a blast!

New Retaining Wall

This is what we just finished. We replaced the rotten landscape timbers with blocks donated by Terri's dad. We really like all the different colors.

imax vacation!

Dinner with Eileen and Charlie

We had a wonderful time at Eileen and Charlie's. The boys got to see some horses up close and feed the fish. It was also fun playing with Jon and Kathy's dogs and hanging out in the hammock. We even had dinner under a big shade tree in the backyard. It reminded me of all those pictures in the food magazines where a chef is entertaining his/her family in a beautiful outdoor setting. Thanks for putting up with us, Eileen and Charlie.

Museum of Science

Judi and Barry came with us to the Jackson Museum of Science where we saw an exhibit on Megaldon sharks. The aquarium had nice examples of local ecosystem, as well as cool rays and sharks. Our hotel pool also had a shark.

Bunk Beds and Alcove for Zach

We got bunk beds for Kaz and Max, and we just finished up the alcove for Zach. He's quite happy with his SpongeBob SquarePants sheets, and all of the boys like the Star Wars appliques on the walls along with the stars and planets. It makes for a nice area upstairs. Now we just need to get Nini up there.

Our entire trip to San Diego and Legoland would not have happened without the generosity of our friends Dan, Lee, Elijah, and Pat Clauss. We had a great time visiting with them and watching the incredible fireworks at the Barona Resort Hotel.
